BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic on Tuesday dismissed as frivolous a "union" of Albanian municipalities allegedly formed by Tirana, Pristina, Tetovo, Ulcinj and Presevo on Monday, November 28 - Albanian Flag Day.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has commented on the creation on Monday of the Union of Albanian Municipalities.

This union includes Tirana, Pristina, Tetovo, Ulcinj, and Presevo.

BELGRADE - Making Serbia's ethnic Albanians a part of the parliamentary majority is the fundamental issue, the leader of the ethnic Albanian Party for Democratic Action Riza Halimi said Monday after consultations with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on the new government.

There are about 500 people in Presevo, southern Serbia, who have been returned from Croatia, while there are hundreds of refugees in Tabanovce, Macedonia.

This is according to Executive Director of the Asylum Protection Center NGO Rados Djurovic, who spoke on Tuesday.

The security situation in the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac, and Medvedja is stable, according to the president of the government's coordinating body.

Speaking on Monday, Zoran Stankovic said there were "no indications" the situation might deteriorate.

Renovated rooms have been opened at the Presevo reception center on Thursday, southern Serbia, where migrants will be able to reside during the winter.

Serbian Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy Aleksandar Vulin and Norwegian Ambassador to Serbia Arne Sannes Bjorstad Thursday opened the premises.

Over 8,000 migrants arrived in Presevo reception center in southern Serbia from Miratovac, on the border with Macedonia, over 24 hours.

This is according to coordinator of the Presevo Youth Office Valjon Arifi, who spoke late on Wednesday.

Asylum Protection Center Executive Director Rados Djurovic has said that "everyone registering in Presevo is ding so as asylum seekers."

Presevo is located near Serbia's southern border with Macedonia,.
