There will be a patchy high cloudiness in the lowlands before noon. The wind from the south will increase, more significantly in Eastern Bulgaria and in places north of the mountains. In the evening, a new increase in cloudiness will begin from the west and rain will fall in extreme western areas.

Cloudy weather will prevail. There will be rainfall, in more places and longer in Eastern Bulgaria, in some areas the amounts there will be significant. After noon, the rain from west to east will weaken and stop, the clouds will begin to break up. On the night of Friday, the precipitation will also stop in the extreme eastern regions.

State meteorologists are advising citizens to brace for a week of wet weather, with extensive rainfall anticipated across the nation, particularly on Nov. 2 and 3.

Turkish State Meteorological Service's latest weekly forecast report reveals that the onset of rains will commence in the western and southern regions of the country on Oct. 31.

The minimum temperatures today will be between 12°C and 17°C, in Sofia - around 13°C, along the Black Sea - between 14°C and 19°C, and the maximum - between 21°C and 26°C.

Türkiye experienced significant disparities in summer rainfall patterns this year, with an overall 30 percent increase in precipitation nationwide but a staggering 60 percent decrease in Istanbul, according to data released by meteorologists.

It will be cloudy today, over the mountain areas mostly significant, there will be almost no precipitation. In the morning hours, there will be low clouds or fog in places in the eastern areas. The Turkish State Meteorological Service has issued a torrential rain warning for several provinces in the western and northern regions of the country, in the wake of devastating floods triggered by heavy rainfall in the northwest.

Today, over the northwestern regions, the cloudiness will temporarily break and decrease, and over the rest it will be more often significant. In many places in Southern and Eastern Bulgaria, there will be short-term rainfall and thunderstorms. In some places, mainly in the Rhodopes and the southeastern regions, the phenomena will be intense and there will be conditions for hail.

With the rising impact of global warming and climate change, the Black Sea region will experience increased evaporation that would potentially surpass precipitation in less than a decade, affecting the region's unique agricultural production, an expert has warned.

It will be mostly sunny today. In the afternoon, mainly over the mountainous and eastern regions of the country, cumulus clouds will develop, but there will be almost no precipitation. A light to moderate wind will blow from the east-northeast. Maximum temperatures in most areas will be between 31°C and 36°C, in Sofia - around 32°C, along the Black Sea - from 27°C to 29°C.
