Cabinet mulls list of new presidents for Greece’s top courts
The process of appointing new presidents of the country's top courts began on Thursday with Justice Minister Konstantinos Tsiaras presenting the cabinet with a list of proposed candidates for the Supreme Court and the Council of State.
Greece elects first woman president
Greece's parliament on Jan. 22 elected the first woman president in the country's history, a senior judge with an expertise in environmental and constitutional law.
A cross-party majority of 261 MPs voted in favour of 63-year-old Ekaterini Sakellaropoulou, parliament chief Costas Tassoulas said.

Croatian Survival Game Becomes Best-Seller in Days
A Croatian open-world survival video game, called SCUM, has already sold sold about 660,000 copies only days after it was released on August 29.
The game was created as a result of cooperation between two Croatian development teams, "Gamepires" and "Croteam". "About 20 people worked on the project," Josip Barisic, "Gamepires" community manager told BIRN.

Dozens of Babies Infected with Salmonella Because of Dangerous Baby Milk
Nearly 40 children are infected with salmonella from baby foods in France and Spain. One of Europe's largest dairy companies has already withdrawn tons of food from the market, NOVA informs.
An investigation has shown that the infection comes from a company factory in Laval, in the northwest of France. The factory was closed by a government decision.
