European Council chief to propose scrapping refugee quota, says report
European Council President Donald Tusk is planning to tell EU leaders to scrap the refugee quota scheme that foresees member states taking in a certain number of migrants, the Guardian reported on Monday.

BRUSSELS - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will meet with European Council President Donald Tusk in Brussels on Friday, with Serbia's European integration, the situation in the region, as well as the possibility of accelerating Serbia's EU accession talks, expected to be discussed.
Serbia can count on joining EU after dialogue with Pristina
EU Council President Donald Tusk stressed on Monday that Serbia can count on full EU membership "after the end of the dialogue with Pristina."
At a joint press conference after his meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Brussels on Friday, Tusk said that the EU "counts on Serbia, as Serbia can count on the EU."
Tusk, Juncker welcome Brnabic's "ambitious agenda"
European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker have extended congratulations to Serbia's new PM, Ana Brnabic.
The joint letter came on the occasion of her appointment, and the formation of the new government.

EU, Japan schedule summit to strike trade deal
The European Union and Japan will hold a summit on July 6 in hopes of sealing broad agreement on a massive trade deal after four years of tough negotiations.
