President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his delegation marked the historic occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic by paying a visit to Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of modern Türkiye founder Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

The nation is commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic with enthusiasm, gratitude and profound pride, with numerous events, festivals and marches honoring both Türkiye's founding leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and the century-old country since the beginning of the week of Oct. 29.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has expressed his desire to liberate Türkiye from its current constitution, which he claims is a remnant of a coup d'état, and underlined the need for a civilian, libertarian and inclusive constitution that will be embraced by all segments of Turkish society.

Türkiye is commemorating the sixth anniversary of the July 15 thwarted coup across the country with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other senior government officials attending events in Ankara and Istanbul.

Turkey's next target in gymnastics is to bag gold medals in the Olympics, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said while addressing gymnasts who bagged medals in various championships this year.

"We are raising the bar. After the Balkan, European and World Championships, now it is time for the Olympics," Erdoğan said.

Turkey will become the largest center for production of electric vehicles in the next decade, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said.

Erdoğan said on March 16 at the Ford Otosan Future Vision meeting held at the Presidential Complex that the government was also determined to turn Turkey into a production center for electric vehicle batteries.
