President Iohannis to chair Superior Council of Magistracy's Tuesday meeting

Romanian President Klaus Iohannis will chair on Tuesday this year's first meeting of the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM), that will elect the institution's leadership, the Presidential Administration announced on Monday.

Mihai-Razvan Ungureanu, appointed personal advisor to President Iohannis (sources)

National Liberal Party (PNL) First Deputy Chairman Mihai-Razvan Ungureanu was appointed personal advisor to President Klaus Iohannis, official sources confirmed for AGERPRES on Monday.

According to the cited sources, this personal advisor office is not paid, but honorary.

Lieutenant General Nicolae-Ionel Ciuca is the new Chief of Staff's head as of January 2015

President Klaus Iohannis has signed on Monday a decree for the appointment of three star Lieutenant General Nicolae-Ionel Ciuca as Chief of Staff's head, as of January 1 2015, when the mandate of the current head of the Chief of Staff, General Stefan Danila comes to an end, the Presidential Administration informs.

PM Ponta: One of the topics approached with Iohannis - supporting R. Moldova's pro-European path

Prime Minister Victor Ponta on Tuesday said that one of the topics approached in the meeting at the Cotroceni Palace with President Klaus Iohannis was the one on continuing to support in 2015 the European path of the Republic of Moldova through the continuation of the bilateral projects conducted in areas such as education, infrastructure or IT.
