BA boosts flights to three Greek airports
British Airways is increasing its flights from London Heathrow to the Greek airports of Hania, Kalamata and Preveza from two to three per week this summer.
The more frequent services will begin on April 28 for Kalamata, May 22 for Hania and May 25 for Preveza, while they will remain in effect until late September or early October.

Northwestern Greece jolted by 5.2-magnitude quake
An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted northwestern Greece in the early hours of Tuesday, though there have been no reports of injuries or significant damage.
The quake struck at 4.26 a.m. and its epicenter was 14 kilometers off the coast of Preveza and 294 kilometers northwest of Athens, the National Observatory's Geodynamic Institute said.

Police intercept over 2 kilos of cocaine at Athens Airport
Police on Saturday were questioning two foreign nationals believed to have tried to smuggle more than 2 kilograms of cocaine into the country from South America.
Officers initially intercepted a 53-year-old woman at Athens International Airport on Friday and then apprehended her suspected connection, a 51-year-old man in the neighborhood of Patissia.

Mild tremor strikes Arta and Preveza
A mild earthquake struck the towns of Arta, in western Greece, and Preveza, slightly further north, on Tuesday morning, without any damage reported.
The tremor occured at 11.10 a.m. and was measured at 3.9 degrees on the Richter scale. It was also felt in the seaside town of Parga, on the Ionian sea, according to reports.
