Elections to take place from April on
Government sources confirmed on Wednesday that national elections will take place any time from April onwards, following an extended meeting that took place at the official Maximos Mansion residence of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to hammer out a plan of action for the next three months.

Greece hosts some 10,000 FETÖ members: Official
Around 10,000 FETÖ members are living in Greece, a senior Foreign Ministry official told the daily Milliyet, hinting that the relations reached a point where it would "explode with a little spark."

Istanbul mayor visits Athens, meets Greek premier
The mayor of Turkey's metropolitan Istanbul met Greek prime minister in Athens on Sept. 21.
Ekrem Imamoğlu was received by Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the Maximos Mansion, the official seat of Greek prime minister.
He also held a meeting with Kostas Bakoyannis, the mayor of Athens, at the Athens City Hall.

PM warns of possible 'accident' in East Med amid Greek-Turkish tensions
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday warned about the possibility of an "accident" in the Eastern Mediterranean where Greek and Turkish naval forces have gathered after Ankara decided to sent a vessel to conduct seismic research south of Kastellorizo.
PM to make statement about developments in Greek-Turkish relations
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will make a public statement about the latest developments in the eastern Mediterranean, his office said on Wednesday.
The statement is expected at 6.30 p.m. from Maximos Mansion.
Greek PM to visit president for briefing on Covid-19 measures, economic impact
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is to visit President Katerina Sakellaropoulou on Monday at noon to brief her on the progress of efforts by the state to contain Covid-19 as well as the economic impact of the pandemic.
According to an announcement from Mitsotakis' office, the premier plams to update the president on the situation on a monthly basis.

PM appeals to Church to raise public awareness on coronavirus
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis appealed to the Church of Greece to help raise public awareness about the new coronavirus after a fourth patient tested negative on Friday.
In a telephone call with Archbishop Ieronymos, Mitsotakis said that clerics can play an important role in helping stop the spread of the virus by informing citizens of what steps they should be taking.
Support for a tough mission
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is faced with three difficult problems: the refugee/migration issue, tensions in Greek-Turkish relations and power games among influential business interests. All of these are explosive issues and none of them has an obvious or easy solution.
