'Coup' Grilling Angers Montenegro Opposition Leader
Montenegro's Special Prosecution for Organize Crime on Monday questioned one of the leaders of the pro-Russian opposition, asking him to supply "additional explanations" about an alleged coup plot that unravelled in the country on election day.
Montenegro: Parliament Approves New Pro-NATO Government
BELGRADE - Montenegrin lawmakers have approved a new pro-NATO government led by Prime Minister Dusko Markovic, a former head of intelligence and a close ally of longtime leader Milo Djukanovic.
The vote on November 28 came as Markovic pledged that his government would complete, by the end of 2017, the years-long process of Montenegro's integration into NATO.
Montenegro Parliament Approves New Govt
Lawmakers in Montenegro have approved the new cabinet of the country led by Duško Marković, the deputy head of the ruling party, local media report.
It took a narrow 41 (out of 81) votes to back the new administration, according to news website Vijesti.

BELGRADE - Montenegro's president has named a former head of intelligence as the prime minister-designate who will try to form a new government.
Dusko Markovic is also the deputy leader of the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists and one of the most trusted allies of Milo Djukanovic, the outgoing prime minister and longtime leader of the party.

BELGRADE - A special prosecutor investigating an alleged plot to sway last month's election in Montenegro said on Sunday a group of "Russian nationalists" had planned to assassinate Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic to get an opposition party into power, Reuters reports.
