Prime Minister Victor Ponta, in the opening of the Romanian Tourism Fair on Thursday, said that the European Union's 2014 - 2020 financial allotment for Romania provides one billion euro funds for the Danube Delta area.

Passing the Tax Code and the Code of Tax Procedure designed by the Government means radical reform in Romania that can be conducted now, because the economic results of Romania so far allows that, Prime Minister Victor Ponta told his cabinet at a meeting on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Victor Ponta arrived on Wednesday morning at the High Court of Cassation and Justice (Romania's Supreme Court), where he was subpoenaed as a witness in the case of the 2012 referendum for the discharge of the then President Traian Basescu.
