Ponta: I haven't talked to any politician about DNA's prosecutor-in-chief appointment

Prime Minister and Social Democratic Party (PSD) Chairman Victor Ponta on Saturday said he had never talked with any politician about the appointment of the prosecutor-in-chief of the National Anti-corruption Directorate (DNA), Laura Codruta Kovesi. Consequently, he added, he had not talked about such an appointment with Elena Udrea, either.

Social Democrats propose a register of Romanians living abroad

The Social Democrat Party (PSD, main at rule) has proposed on Wednesday, during the meeting with President Klaus Iohannis at the Cotroceni Palace, a register of Romanians living abroad to be fathered, and the activity of the Parliament to be alike the European legislative's, said the party's chair, Prime Minister Victor Ponta.

PM Ponta: Vote abroad must be organized, as at home, by Permanent Electoral Authority

Prime Minister Victor Ponta believes the solution to the vote abroad, in the future, is represented by organizing the voting process as it is organized at home, by the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) and not by the Government.
