Romania does not recognize the so-called presidential elections held on August 24 in Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia, considering "the elections" illegal and politically irrelevant from the political and legal point of view, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) informs in a release sent to AGERPRES on Sunday evening.
