"Kosovo can be taken away, be occupied as it is today, but Serbia can never say 'we are giving that away', because what is given away is lost forever, while what is taken away by force, is taken back the same way," the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) told TV Hram, commenting on "the internal dialogue on KIM (Kosovo and Metohija)."

Kosovo Police Stop 'Illegal' Serb Census Attempts

Kosovo Police said they raided Serbian Red Cross centres on the authorisation of the courts on Wednesday night in Prizren, Pristina, Pejë/Pec, Gjilan/Gnjilane and Mitrovicë/Mitrovica.

"Seized documents are suspected to be related to a census, considered suspicious and in contradiction to the law, as a census should be conducted by Kosovo institutions," the police press release said.

Elixir Group continues to help soup kitchens in Kosovo

Elixir Group from Sabac is, now traditionally, helping soup kitchens in Kosovo by providing assistance to the Majka Devet Jugovica organization.

This NGO operates within the SPC Diocese of Raska and Prizren, and every day helps more than 3,000 poorest citizens in the Kosovo Pomoravlje District, and in the enclaves.

Turkish Consulate in Zurich attacked with fireworks

The Turkish Consulate in Switzerland's Zurich was attack by a group using fireworks on Jan. 18, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.   

The attack was carried out at 0:30 a.m. on Jan. 8, according to officials from the consulate.

The walls and windows of the consulate building were damaged, as Swiss police started an investigation following the incident.
