Exports continue to represent a lifeline for Greek enterprises and the national economy, even if they have to resort to price cuts to maintain demand.

Sofia. The Parliament introduced an electronic procurement platform by approving on second reading amendments to the law on public procurement, Focus News Agency reports. According to the approved texts, procurement shall be carried out by electronic means through a centralised electronic platform.

Sofia. A public procurement for the national health information system may be suspended due to a complaint to the Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC), the Ministry of Health said. The complaint was filed on September 17 against the minister's decision to launch the procurement.

While Greek consumers and enterprises still foresee an economic rebound, their expectations have cooled somewhat, as considerable uncertainties concerning the course of the economy remain, particularly as regards when the country emerges from its bailout program this summer.
