Web platform launched to boost political responsibility
Ljubljana – The centre for investigative journalism in the Adriatic region Oštro and the institute Danes Je Nov Dan (Today Is a New Day) have launched a web platform where a list of promises made by politicians will be published as a reminder to them that they have a responsibility towards citizens.

Credible proposals
Opposition New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakakis's pledge to lower a series of taxes, including the unified property tax known as ENFIA, in the first two years of his mandate in the event that he is elected, is a major step.
However, this promise, which he made during a televised interview late on Thursday, must be accompanied by fully costed proposals.

Albania NGO Lists Rama's Broken Promises
Albania's centre-left government has fully met only four of its 27 electoral promises after two-and-a-half years in power, an NGO has claimed.
While presenting what it called it "truth-meter" Mjaft representatives noted - among others - that the government had failed to open 300,000 new workplaces as it had pledged.

Gov't readies 100-day urgent action plan to fulfill election promises
Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu has instructed his party officials to draft an urgent action plan to keep the election promises he has made - particularly in regard to the economy.
A commission will duly be established to determine which promises will first be fulfilled by the government to be formed by Davuto?lu.
