Forensic report shows Xanthi teen died of asphyxiation
A 16-year-old boy who was found dead in his home in northern Greece on Friday following a suspected gas leak died from asphyxiation, a forensic examination showed on Saturday.
Gas leak kills teen in family home, sisters critical
A 16-year-old boy has died from suspected gas poisoning in his home in Magiko, Xanthi, in northern Greece, while his sisters, aged 15 and 18, remain in critical condition. The incident occurred after the family was reportedly exposed to a gas leak, possibly from a newly installed propane system or carbon monoxide.
Mass Inspections of Gas Stations began after the Explosions in Romania
In Romania, the investigation into the causes of the explosion on Saturday night at a propane-butane depot 30 km from Bucharest continues. The accident took the lives of two residents of the town of Crevedia, and 58 people received severe burns. The majority of the injured are firefighters, policemen and gendarmerie.

For the first time in the last two years, the National Statistical Institute reported deflation. It is only 0.1% in May compared to April. For the last time, and only once in June, deflation was reported in June 2021.
On an annual basis, however, inflation remains in double digits and is 10.1%. Food prices continue to rise.

Bulgaria: Evacuation of Hundreds after Gas Leak
A gas leak from a railway tanker was stopped by firefighters at the station in the town of Borovo, Ruse region.
This was announced by the director of the regional fire department, Commander Valentin Krasnaliev, to the Bulgarian National Radio.
