Brazil receives 650 Turkish respirators amid COVID-19

A shipment of 650 domestically produced respirators from Turkey arrived in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo on June 7 amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Turkish Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank shared a video of their delivery on Twitter.

He said Turkish intensive care unit respirators have become 'the breath of the world.'

One dead, 48 newly infected

Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Serbia, the death toll in Serbia reached 240, with the mortality rate of 2.13 percent.
Presently, 622 patients are hospitalised, ten of whom are on respirators.
A total number of tested reached 229.485, out of that number, 11.275 were confirmed positive.
The number of people that have recovered so far is 6.277.

Plan to bolster island health structures amid pandemic

The Health Ministry's plan this summer to cope with the influx of tourism to the islands and mainland destinations include, Kathimerini understands, the designation of low-, medium- and high-risk areas, depending on access to health infrastructure, as well as securing beds for Covid-19 patients, personal protective equipment, respirators and other necessary equipment.

No new coronavirus victims in Serbia, 105 newly infected

This is the first day without new victims in our country in almost two months, since March 24.
During the course of 24 hours, 5.998 people were tested, and 105 were positive. A total of 209.797 were tested, it is published on covid19.rs website.
Of the 744 hospitalized, 12 are on respirators.
So far, 237 people have died, which brought the death rate to 2.15 percent.

Three people died, 58 newly infected

The number of coronavirus victims in Serbia thus reached 228.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 6.076 people were tested.
There are 17 patients on respirators, while 4.479 of them have been cured so far.
In the Republic of Serbia, a total of 174.746 persons who met the criteria for defining a case were tested.
