Bulgaria: Protesters Blocked the Street in front of the Russian Embassy in Sofia

Protest in front of the Russian Embassy in Sofia this afternoon.

The protest does not include only people who have relatives in Ukraine, but also Bulgarians who said they were here in protest that we have returned the clock to a century ago.

People are pushing for humanitarian aid.

Protests in Europe: Tear Gas and Arrested in Paris, Clashes in Zurich

The police used tear gas to disperse protesters on Champs-Élysées. There are also people arrested.

Thousands of cars headed to Paris, following the example of the Canadian Freedom Convoy, to protest against the covid restrictions.

However, blockades of the French capital were not set up, and more than 7,000 police officers were mobilized to maintain order.

Blockades on Canada-US border continue as protests swell

Protesters opposed to COVID-19 vaccine mandates and other restrictions withdrew their vehicles from a key U.S.-Canadian border bridge Saturday though access remained blocked while other demonstrations ramped up in cities across Canada, including the capital, where police said they were awaiting more officers before ending what they described as an illegal occupation.

Friday protesters note importance of fight for human rights

Ljubljana – The Friday protesters gathered last evening in Ljubljana’s Republic Square, dedicating this week’s protest to Human Rights Day to emphasise the importance of fight for their protection. They said that these were often violated precisely because of conscious acts and policies of the current authorities in Slovenia.
