Mitsui to launch seaplane services in western Greece
Japanese conglomerate Mitsui intends to create an extensive network of seaplane services in western Greece in cooperation with Hellenic Water Airports, starting in the spring, following test flights in the last few days off between Corfu and nearby Ionian islands.

Archaeologists discover ancient Greek theatre of Thouria in near perfect condition! (photos)
Greek archaeologists have brought to light an extensive portion of the ancient theatre of Thouria, near the port town of Kalamata in the Peloponnese, the Greek Ministry of Culture said on Thursday.
The excavation at the site of ancient Thouria unearthed the entire perimeter of the orchestra pit in the theater, the diameter of which is 16.30m.

Greece convicted over poor waste management
The European Court of Justice on Thursday convicted Greece of failing to meet European waste management and drainage standards in four towns in the country's north and one in central Greece.
The conviction relates to the towns of Prosotsani and Doxato in Drama, Eleftheroupoli in Kavala, Galatista in Halkidiki and Vagia in Viotia.
