Covid-19 figures keep improving

Ljubljana – Slovenia’s coronavirus curve keeps falling both in terms of new cases and hospitalisations. A total of 4,542 new cases were confirmed on Wednesday, just over a third of the figure reported a week ago. Government data shows a total of 513 patients were being treated in hospitals for Covid-19 as their main condition this morning, including 108 in intensive care units.

The National Public Health Organisation today announced 93 COVID-19 deaths and 25,095 infections (45 detected at points of entry into the country), in the last 24 hours.

Since the beginning of the pandemic 25,095 people have died of COVID-19 in Greece, 95 percent of whom had an underlying medical condition and/or were age 70 or over.

The National Public Health Organisation today announced that there have been 25,001 COVID 19 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

There were 82 deaths recorded in today's daily epidemiological report, and 95 percent had an underlying medical condition and/or were age 70 or over.

Week-on-week drop in coronavirus cases continues

Ljubljana – A total of 7,122 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Slovenia on Monday, a significant drop from a week ago when just over 11,000 cases were recorded. 427 people were in hospital due to Covid-19 this morning, 19 fewer than yesterday, including 114 in intensive care, down by four, government data show.

The National Public Health Organisation today announced 77 COVID-19 deaths and 21,412 newly confirmed infections (32 detected at points of entry into the country) over the last 24 hours.

With the newly recorded deaths, 24,917 people have died of COVID-19 in Greece since the start of the pandemic, and 95 percent had an underlying medical condition and/or were age 70 or older.

The National Public Health Organisation today announced 78 COVID-19 deaths and 20,361 newly confirmed infections (69 detected at points of entry into the country) in the last 24 hours.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 24,836 people have died of COVID-19 in Greece, and 95 percent had an underlying medical condition and/or were age 70 or older.

"The end is in sight"

Stating that in the previous week, the number of patients admitted to that health institution decreased by 30 percent compared to January, she said that in more than 70 percent of cases, hospitalized people were not vaccinated.
