Market test to follow lignite plant sale deal
The deal with the country's creditors concerning the sale of Public Power Corporation's lignite units is definitively sealed, and on Friday the two sides will formally confirm it. Now Energy Minister Giorgos Stathakis has to manage the front that has opened with the PPC union (GENOP) and the local communities of Florina and Megalopoli.

PPC teaming up wth Forthnet
Public Power Corporation (PPC), Greece's dominant energy utility, has teamed up with small telecoms operator Forthnet to explore synergies in their relevant sectors in Greece, PPC said on Wednesday.
The two companies will look to develop combined telecoms and power services, initially aiming at a small number of Greek households, PPC said in a statement.
