Riotous gypsy punk act The Great Malarkey travels from London to Athens for a gig at the Greek capital's Gazarte roof stage, a year after the release of its second album, "The Doghouse." The band will be joined on this energy-packed night by The Speakeasies, an act from Thessaloniki that has become a favorite on the Athens live music circuit.

Tube Station Shooting Leaves Three Injured in North West London

THREE people were injured in a drive-by shooting outside a tube station last night in another evening of violence in Lawless London.

Horrified witnesses described hearing blood-curdling screams as shots rang out on a busy street at about 9.45pm.

A woman, 30, and two men - aged 18 and 24 - were rushed to hospital with gun shot wounds.

Greek state broadcaster ERT was covering last Sunday’s Authentic Marathon from the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens live, when a reporter can be clearly heard asking where the toilette was (at 0.7-0.15 seconds). But it gets even better.

The Onassis Cultural Center has put together a music documentary festival, running from Saturday, November 4, to Tuesday, November 7, and comprising 17 recent productions that run the gamut from Nick Cave and Iranian DJs, the Rolling Stones and James Lavelle, to virtuoso jazz musicians and veterans of the London punk scene.
