The Greek Medical Tourism Council (Elitour) is preparing to host in Athens next May the Medical Travel Summit 2018 of the International Medical Travel Journal (IMTJ), as Greek tourism professionals strive to diversify their tourism products on offer.

The IMTJ Summit is a high-level event aimed at senior decision makers involved in the medical tourism and international patient market.

Debates in Parliament are about politicians being held to account. This is a basic element of democracy from when it was created. The Greek isles are in the top 5 picks for Cruise Itineraries, according to the 2018 annual Luxe report by luxury travel specialists Virtuoso. The report reveals consumer preferences in high-end and experiential travel, as discerned from a comprehensive survey of the network’s travel advisors worldwide.
So what are the hottest tips from the report?

Deputy Prime Minister Valeri Simeonov said he plans to check for problems with noise levels in winter resorts, as he did in the summer, reported BTV. 

He said that legal changes would seek more effective measures to overcome the noise problem in resorts.

Israeli company Shidav is looking for Bulgarian manufacturers of building materials. It is one of the leading Israeli companies for the import of construction products.

Nearly 19 thousand Chinese tourists visited Bulgaria for the period January-August this year. The growth is by 50% compared to the same period in 2016. Only in August about 2200 guests from the Asian country came to Bulgaria, marking an increase of 23.4%.

Turkey will offer subsidies to A-group tourism operators of cruise ships bringing foreign tourists into the country in a bid to bolster visitor numbers which have fallen sharply due to a series of bomb attacks of 2016.
