This will be the fifth general election in Bulgaria in two years and will be followed by mayoral elections later in 2023, which will test the centre-right GERB party's dominance in local administration.

President Vui visited the construction site with Radev and spoke with the contractors.

Vucic: I hope gas will start flowing by end of year

Vucic will also have a bilateral meeting with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev.

The construction of the gas connection between Bulgaria and Serbia on Bulgarian territory will being on February 1, according to a press release from the presidency.
