Vucic receives farewell visit from Iranian ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received a farewell visit from Iranian Ambassador to Belgrade Rashid Hassan Pour Baei on Friday, thanking him for his significant contribution to strengthening of bilateral relations.

Vucic also thanked the ambassador for representing his nation's culture and civilisation in Serbia in the best manner.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received a farewell visit from Turkish Ambassador to Belgrade Hami Aksoy on Friday, thanking him for his personal contribution to advancement of bilateral relations.

At the meeting, Vucic highlighted the significance of intensive political dialogue, growing economic cooperation and friendly relations between Serbs and Turks.

Vucic: Linglong plant in Zrenjanin largest-ever greenfield investment in Serbia

ZRENJANIN - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday a Linglong tyre factory in Zrenjanin, northeastern Serbia, was by far the largest-ever greenfield investment in the country and that 1,235 Serbian workers had been hired already in the first stage of the plant's operations.

Dacic, Ashton discuss Belgrade-Pristina dialogue

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic received British Baroness Catherine Ashton, a former EU foreign policy and security chief, in Belgrade on Thursday to discuss issues related to the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.

Dacic and Ashton agreed continued dialogue was the only path that would lead to results, the Serbian MFA said in a statement.
