With heavy snowfall expected on the weekend in the western Black Sea and southeastern and eastern Anatolia regions, the Turkish State Meteorological Service has issued "yellow" and "orange" alerts for 31 out of the country's 81 provinces.

This Saturday, Bulgarians can expect cloudy weather with a moderate to strong northwesterly wind. Rain and snow showers are anticipated, spanning from west to east. Temperatures will range from minus 3C to 8C, dropping lower in Sofia. Coastal regions will experience cloudy conditions with rain showers, and snow is predicted up north.

The colors of the sky left many breathless, so it's no surprise that social media users decided to share their delight with others.
According to the RHMZ forecast, in the morning and before noon in the north and west of Serbia, it will be cloudy with mixed precipitation: snow and rain, which will locally freeze on the ground.

This place, of course, also holds the record for the lowest measured temperature in Serbia ever - minus 39.5 degrees Celsius was recorded in 2006.

As Bulgaria navigates through January 18, a predominantly cloudy day awaits with widespread rainfall expected in many regions. A light to moderate southwesterly wind will accompany the weather. Daytime highs will vary between 15-16°C, with cooler temperatures of 5-7°C in Western Bulgaria and around 13°C in Sofia.

From Tuesday evening heavy snow is expected in central and northern Germany. The southern parts of Germany can expect "heavy freezing rain".

Get ready for a meteorological rollercoaster in Bulgaria as the weather takes an unpredictable turn in the coming days. Starting with a pleasant Wednesday featuring mostly sunny skies and scattered clouds, the warmth will persist. However, buckle up as the climate narrative shifts rapidly.

One more icy day with ice expected locally warned the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ).

Daily temperature from minus 3 to 0 degrees, except in Negotinska Krajina where it will be a little warmer.

The weather will steadily deteriorate from late Saturday afternoon until Sunday evening, according to an emergency advisory issued by the National Meteorological Service (EMY).

Heavy showers and thunderstorms, as well as strong gusts, will be the primary elements of the weather shift.

As January 2 unfolds, expect varied weather patterns across Bulgaria. The day will commence under cloudy skies accompanied by minimal rainfall. However, there's a forecast of cloud cover reduction as the day progresses, especially before noon, promising some relief.
