Rain

For eastern and southwestern Serbia, the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ) has activated yellow weather alarms for rain, which indicate that the weather can be potentially dangerous.

In the morning hours, it will be foggy in places in the lowlands and plains, and rain will begin in the northwestern regions, which will cover almost the entire country by the end of the day. The minimum temperatures today will be between 8°C and 13°C, and the maximum - from 13°C in places in northwestern Bulgaria to 23-25°C in the southeastern regions of the country.

The minimum temperatures will be between 5°C and 14°C, in Sofia - around 7°C, and the maximum - between 19°C and 24°C, in Sofia - around 20°C.

It will be sunny with scattered high clouds. Visibility will be reduced in places in the morning hours. A light southerly wind will blow.

An orange code has been issued for the entire country due to expected intense rainfall and strong winds.

There will be a patchy high cloudiness in the lowlands before noon. The wind from the south will increase, more significantly in Eastern Bulgaria and in places north of the mountains. In the evening, a new increase in cloudiness will begin from the west and rain will fall in extreme western areas.

The unprecedented summer weather conditions that prevailed until Wednesday throughout Greece gave way to heavy rain, which flooded streets of the western port city of Patra, on Thursday. Serious problems were also caused both on the old national road and the new Patra-Corinth highway, where landslides occurred.

Cloudy weather will prevail. There will be rainfall, in more places and longer in Eastern Bulgaria, in some areas the amounts there will be significant. After noon, the rain from west to east will weaken and stop, the clouds will begin to break up. On the night of Friday, the precipitation will also stop in the extreme eastern regions.

Today the minimum temperatures are within wide limits - from only 1 degree in Kyustendil and 3 in Vidin, 5 degrees in Plovdiv, as it was in Musala, in Sofia it remains unchanged compared to yesterday - 7 degrees.

Today will be mostly sunny. Cloudiness will increase in the evening over Northwestern Bulgaria and it will rain in some places before midnight. A light southerly wind will blow. The maximum temperatures will be between 22°C and 27°C, in Sofia - around 23°C.

State meteorologists are advising citizens to brace for a week of wet weather, with extensive rainfall anticipated across the nation, particularly on Nov. 2 and 3.

Turkish State Meteorological Service's latest weekly forecast report reveals that the onset of rains will commence in the western and southern regions of the country on Oct. 31.
