Kosovo Withdraws Application to Join Interpol
Kosovo rescinded its application to join the International Criminal Police Organization, Interpol, this year, just a few hours before its annual General Assembly was set to begin on Tuesday in Santiago, Chile.

B92 learns: Pristina withdrew Interpol membership application an hour before the vote
"Bearing in mind that general elections in Kosovo were held on October 6, I kindly ask you to postpone our application for the next Interpol General Assembly meeting", Haradinaj wrote.
A note was sent to the Serbian Embassy in Paris in which Ramush Haradinaj withdraws his application for Kosovo membership at Interpol. The note arrived today just before 3pm.

Kosovo Election Winner Vetevendosje Seeks Coalition Partner
Talks on forming a new government in Kosovo are due to start soon after the opposition Vetevendosje party came first in Sunday's snap parliamentary elections.
The party has made clear it wishes to seek to form a coalition government with another former opposition party, the Democratic League of Kosovo, LDK.

Haradinaj: I did not want the news to be conveyed to Vucic
"Tariff is an instrument for creating a balanced value for recognition, we need to empower it in order to get to the exchange of recognitions. It is a great anomaly that Serbia requests something. It had to be the opposite, we should request recognition of independence, along with the apology or compensation of damages", Haradinaj said.

The reason was, reportedly, emails received by the National Security Council from the office of the then Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj and the company he had paid to lobby for him. Such a move, unprecedented in US diplomatic practice, required a sharp response from US officials.
