As the coronavirus outbreak worsens around the world, a Turkish company has made a vending machine to dispense protective face masks and disinfectants in public places.

The machine is ideal for use in crowded public spaces such as subway stations and airports, according to Erdem Dinçsoy, who heads the company Elektral.

An Istanbul subway line is set to be Turkey's first-ever high-speed metro line, the country's transport and infrastructure minister said on Sept. 6.

Not well and poorly serviced by Sofia's public transport are not only the areas on the periphery of the city but also those that are relatively close to the center. The pride of the management of the metropolitan at Sofia municipality in the last decade - the metro, is far from beneficial for the entire capital and suburban areas, but mainly for the neighborhoods situated along it.

Firemen rescued a woman who had fallen onto the tracks of the Athens metro on Monday morning.

The woman reportedly fell at the Syngrou-Fix metro station during rush hour, according to the ANA-MPA news agency, which did not provide additional details.

SOFIA (Bulgaria), August 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's government said on Wednesday it decided to provide 15 million levs ($9.0 million/7.7 million euro) from its budget to Sofia municipality, which will be used to partially finance the first two phases of the construction of Line 3 of the Sofia subway.
