Bulgaria's Prоsecutor General under Fire again
Attempts by the outgoing caretaker government to oust Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev, who served under the previous government of Boyko Borissov, are continuing.
On Tuesday acting Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov approached the Deputy Chief Prosecutor and Director of the National Investigation Borislav Sarafov with a signal against Geshev for leaked eavesdropping.

Caretaker Minister of Interior Files Official Complain against the Chief Prosecutor for Committed Crimes
The caretaker Minister of Interior, Boyko Rashkov, has filed a complain against Chief Prosecutor, Ivan Geshev, to the Director of the National Investigation Service, Borislav Sarafov.
Rashkov announced this on July 27 after an award ceremony for directors of regional directorates of the MoI for good performance of their duties.

Ministry of Interior Will Investigate 14 Organ Transplant Surgeries in Lozenets Hospital
The General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime is investigating 14 transplants performed at the Lozenets government hospital, Interior Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Boyko Rashkov said today.
He specified that the investigation started after the Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov handed over the results of the inspections in the hospital to the Ministry of Interior.
Caretaker Interior Minister: Top Prosecutor Covers up for Corrupt Politicians, Magistrates in Bulgaria
Bulgarian caretaker interior minister Boyko Rashkov accused on Sunday the prosecution of keeping secret a list of 38 magistrates and politicians who own undeclared property abroad.
The list was made back in 2019 when the Bulgarian authorities asked foreign countries to inform them of the property owned by Bulgarian nationals.

Elena Ficherova, head of the cabinet of Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov, has applied for dismissal, the ministry said.
"The act is motivated by the desire not to cause negatives for the political cabinet. Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov has granted the request. The order comes into force today," the statement said.

Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov confirmed for BTA late on Thursday that politicians were being wiretapped by two security agencies - the State Agency for National Security (SANS) and the State Agency Technical Operations (SATO). Rashkov further said that he has received information about materials being destroyed at SANS.
