Jan Vide, the new mega Slovenian basketball talent who has been delivering stellar performances for the junior team of Real Madrid, will reportedly be joining superstar Luka Dončić in the US. His first chapter in the land of opportunity will be with UCLA in the NCAA student league.

BELGRADE - Partizan Belgrade suffered an 85-78 (27-15, 18-27, 16-13, 24-23) home defeat to Real Madrid in the fourth game of the two teams' EuroLeague Basketball quarter-final series on Thursday evening.

The series is now tied at 2-2.

Before the game, tributes were paid to the victims of Wednesday's shooting in a primary school in downtown Belgrade.

Dončić was first short-listed for the team, with fans, sports journalists and EuroLeague captains and coaches deciding on the final selection of ten players.

According to the votes cast by the fans, Dončić made it to the seventh place.

Turkey's Fenerbahçe Beko have come back to beat reigning Euroleague champions Real Madrid 65-63 thanks to Gigi Datome's layup with 6.6 seconds to go.

 Real Madrid clinched a record-extending 10th Euroleague title after overpowering last season's champion Fenerbahçe Istanbul 85-80 in a spectacular final of the continent's premier club basketball competition late on May 20.

Fenerbahçe dominated Real Madrid throughout the game in a Euroleague Final Four semifinal clash on May 19 on its way to a 84-75 victory , setting up a final against Olympiacos on May 21.

Buoyed by the support of its thousands of fans, Fenerbahçe started fast, leading by eight points at the end of the first quarter, and never looked back.

Olympiakos came from 13 points down to beat favorite CSKA Moscow 82-78 at the Euroleague semifinal on Friday in Istanbul and advance to Sunday's final.

In the trophy game the Reds will face the winner of the other semifinal between Real Madrid and Fenerbahce.
