Thousands of health professionals on March 14 convened in several marches and events to mark National Medicine Day, also dubbed as National Doctors' Day, calling for improved working conditions and an end to violence in hospitals.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis indicated on Tuesday that he is planning a trip to Ankara in May, hailing what he said was a "sincere desire" from the Turkish side to "bridge tensions" with Greece.

A comprehensive omnibus bill, encompassing more than 60 amendments, was published in Türkiye's Official Gazette on March 12.

The legislation, widely known as the "judicial package," entered discussions on Feb. 20 after being submitted to the parliamentary presidency earlier in the month.

Turkish and Greek diplomats met in Ankara on March 11 for consultations within the framework of ongoing political dialogue meetings between the two countries.

Deputy Foreign Minister Burak Akçapar led the Turkish delegation, while his Greek counterpart, Alexandra Papadopoulou, headed the Greek team.

Defense Minister Yaşar Güler has insisted that Turkish troops will remain in northern Iraq until the terror threat, particularly from the PKK, is eliminated.

"Everyone knows that Türkiye needs to move to another phase [in the fight against terrorism]," Güler said during a gathering with reporters in the capital Ankara on March 10.
