Turkey's Syrian refugees will not be granted special work permits, the labour minister said on Aug. 7, explaining that such a programme would be unfair to Turks seeking work.
   

Amnesty International?s Researcher for Turkey Andrew Gardner declared that a significant part of Syrians who have migrated to Turkey will not be able to go back to Syria, urging that the Turkish government should envisage their future development.

Uruguay will take in a new group of Syrian refugees by the end of the year, officials said July 20, adding that the country was committed to helping alleviate a humanitarian crisis.
