40% of Bulgarians believe there is a secret society that governs the world. 29% of Bulgarians believe in the existence of aliens, 19% are convinced that people have contacted them, and 14% - that aliens live among people.

This shows a study of the Bulgarians' attitudes towards beliefs, conspiracy and superstition, carried out by Trend Research on the order of 24 hours newspaper.

A man who is only 58 cm tall and weighs 7 kg is being worshiped as the reincarnation of a Hindu god. Manpreet Singh, 21, is the same height and weight as a six month old baby and is believed to be one of the smallest people in the world. Since the age of 12, he has been worshiped as the reincarnation of a Hindu god by the local villagers and people visit him every day to be blessed.
