He added that Serbia would not spoil relations with Russia and China because of that. Asked about Serbia's European path, Vui said that he knew that not everything depended on us.
"At the recent meeting of foreign ministers, it was stated that Serbia has made progress on the issue of the rule of law. It is important for us to be sincerely on the European path," he said.

More than two decades since it broke away from Serbia in war, Kosovo is trying to claim ownership over more than 160 properties dotted around the former Yugoslavia.

"Montenegro called for Vukovic's extradition in 2016. The Serbian [justice] ministry made no decision on extradition," said Tea Gorjanc Prelevic, head of Human Rights Action.

Montenegrin authorities on November 28 declared ambassador Vladimir Bozovic persona non grata, citing allegedly unacceptable statements about the history and statehood of the country.
