Serbs in Bosnia remember massacre victims

SREBRENICA -- A memorial service and wreath-laying ceremony was held over the weekend in the village of Zalužje near Srebrenica, in Bosnia's Serb entity, the RS.

The ceremony marked the anniversary of a massacre of Serb civilians and soldiers by Bosnian Muslim forces on July 12, 1992.

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will confer with Republika Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik in Belgrade on Monday, whom he invited for emergency consultations after the statement made by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

19 years since war crime in Srebrenica

BELGRADE -- Friday marks 19 years since the forces of the Bosnian Serb army, VRS, entered Srebrenica and committed war crimes, killing about 8,000 people.

BRATUNAC – A central manifestation to commemorate 22 years since a crime against Serbs in the Middle Drina valley in Republika Srpska (RS), the Serb entity of Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH), where Muslim forces killed 3,267 Serb civilians and soldiers during a four-year war, was held in the RS town of Bratunac Saturday.

Bosnia: Three indicted for war crimes against Serbs

SARAJEVO -- Two Bosniaks and one Croat have been indicted on suspicion of involvement in the killing of at least 90 Serbs in the area of Sarajevo's Trnovo municipality.

LOZNICA - Zorana Mihajlovic, Serbia's deputy prime minister and minister of construction, transport and infrastructure, opened on Monday the repaired railway from Lesnica to Loznica, which was damaged in the severe floods, thus restoring rail freight traffic between Serbia and Republika Srpska.

RS leader: Autonomy now, independence later

ANDRIĆGRAD -- Milorad Dodik says the Serb people in Bosnia will continue fighting for autonomy, hoping that the political process will eventually result in the independence.

He made the remarks on Saturday, St. Vitus Day (Vidovdan), during the opening of the cultural and historical complex dubbed Andrićgrad.

ANDRICGRAD - The Holy Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) delivered the Order of Holy King Milutin to Republika Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik and Andricgrad mastermind Emir Kusturica.

Patriarch Irinej of SPC said in Andricgrad on Saturday that the medal was awarded to Dodik and Kusturica at the proposal of Bishop Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina and the Littoral.
