Dust storm from Sahara to hit Türkiye
A massive dust storm from the Sahara Desert is expected to shroud the country, with experts warning citizens, especially those with respiratory disorders, to take precautions.
Professor Dr. Doğan Yaşar, a climate scientist, cautioned that a period of intense dust transport will begin on March 25.

Trials of New Anti-Covid Drug Launched in UK
A large-scale trial of a new treatment has begun in the UK, with high hopes of helping Covid-19 patients stop developing serious illness.
The new treatment involves inhaling a protein called Interferon Beta, which the body produces in infection.
The hope is that this will stimulate the immune system and the cells will be prepared to fight viruses.

549 COVID-19 Infected in Bulgaria, another Death Case
549 are the confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria according to data from the National Operational Headquarters. To date, eight more new cases have been proven, all of them in Sofia. The labs continue to work.
201 persons with confirmed COVID-19 are placed under medical supervision in hospitals. 26 of them are in intensive care units and clinics.
17 COVID-19 Deaths in Bulgaria
A 54-year-old man died at St. Anna's Hospital in Sofia on April 4. The patient had underlying health conditions including Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) diabetes and hypertension and was diagnosed with COVID-19.
An 86-year-old COVID-19 positive man died in the same hospital. The patient had pulmonary insufficiency and heart disease.

Two more victims of coronavirus in Serbia
One patient was K.S. (80), hospitalized at the KCS Infectious and Tropical Diseases Clinic and has been on the respirator for the past few days, and doctors had done their best during his treatment.
He was otherwise suffering from cardiomyopathy, had hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and diabetes mellitus.
