Holocaust Museum to be built in area administered by Grigore Antipa Museum
Director of the Elie Wiesel National Institute for the Study of the Holocaust in Romania (INSHR) Alexandru Florian on Friday voiced confidence that the Museum of the History of the Jews and the Holocaust in Romania will be built in the space under the administration of the Grigore Antipa National Museum of Natural History in Bucharest.
Romanians Find More Human Remains Near Holocaust Grave
The Romanian military prosecution office has opened a criminal case after more human remains were discovered near a mass grave found in 2010 close to the city of Iasi.
The remains were found on June 29 by experts working for Romania's Elie Wiesel National Institute for the Study of the Holocaust near Popricani, a small municipality close to Iasi.

PM Dancila presents priorities of Romania's EU Council Presidency to head of American Jewish Committee Harris
One of Romania's priorities during the presidency of the Council of the EU is to intensify European joint efforts to combat anti-Semitism, Prime Minister Viorica Dancila said on Thursday, during a meeting she had, in Brussels, with the Executive Director of the American Jewish Committee, David Harris, informs a press release issued by the Government.

Jewish memorial in Kastoria desecrated
A memorial dedicated to the Greek Jews of the town of Kastoria, in the northern region of West Macedonia, who perished in the Holocaust was vandalized on Christmas day, state-run news agency ANA-MPA reported on Wednesday.
According to the news agency, unknown perpetrators sprayed both sides of the marble slab commemorating the event with black paint.
