Man sentenced for social media encounter with minor
A 29-year-old man, accused of arranging a meeting with a 14-year-old girl through a social media platform on the island of Rhodes, was sentenced on Wednesday to 12 months in prison with a three-year suspension.

Migrants try to board commercial boats from Rhodes
Hundreds of homeless undocumented refugees and migrants staying on the streets of Rhodes Island, Dodecanese tried to board commercial boats to Piraeus port on Sunday morning. Police and coastguard officials blocked their way.
According to state media ERT, the refugees and migrants returned to the streets after seeing the heavy blockage from the police.

Tour operator TUI said on Wednesday it could see its travel season shift to start earlier in the spring and end in the autumn as climate change affects tourist habits.
