A 60-year-old woman died in an accident involing a Bulgarian bus near the Hungarian city of Kecskemet, Hungarian internet sites report.

According to the local police service, nine women were traveling in the bus to France.

A car crashed and subsequently caught fire on the "Trakia" highway in Bulgaria. One person died in the accident, the Ministry of the Interior stated.

The regional directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Plovdiv is taking additional measures regarding the effective provision of road safety given the increased car traffic to the Black Sea and other resort centers in the country.
