A 4-kilometers long queue at the Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint. The queue is formed at the exit to Turkey, NOVA reports.

The administration of the border checkpoint stated that 2400 trucks were processed in the last 24 hours, 1230 of which were leaving Bulgaria. Over the past month, heavy goods traffic has increased.

At the Turkish border at Kapitan Andreevo and Lesovo checkpoints, there is heavy traffic of trucks exiting the country, the press office of the Border Police said at 01:00 pm.

At the border with the Republic of Northern Macedonia at Zlatarevo checkpoint, traffic is tied up due to repair and construction works. At other border checkpoints, traffic is normal.

The Road Infrastructure Agency has opened a tender process for selecting a contractor to carry out a rescue archaeological survey of a newly discovered archaeological site located at the 18th km along the Kalotina-Sofia ring road, the road agency said.

The deadline for submission is November 21, and the value of the public procurement is BGN 86 000 (VAT excluded).

The project will be the first to implement a new payment scheme, the government press service said.

Border traffic with Romania, Turkey, Greece and Serbia is intensive, Border Police DG reports.

At the border with the Republic of Serbia, traffic is intensive at the exit for passenger cars.

At the border with Greece, traffic is intensive at the Kulata border checkpoint at the exit for cars and trucks, and at Makaza border checkpoint at the exit for cars.

From 23:00 to 24:00, the traffic on Struma Highway will be stopped in both directions. This will happen at the 163rd km of the motorway in the area of ​​the of Marino Pole village near Petrich.
