Two apprehended in attempted break-in at Ministry of Labor branch
Police arrested two individuals attempting to break into a branch of the Ministry of Labor in the center of Athens late on Sunday. The suspects, a 29-year-old Greek man and a 29-year-old Bangladeshi man, utilized an electric grinder to cut the lock of the main gate, shattering a glass window in the process.
Man, 21, attacks teenager over sports jersey
Criminal charges for two felonies and four misdemeanors were brought against a 21-year-old arrested for sports-related violence against a 16-year-old due to the team insignia he had on his shirt on Tuesday afternoon, in the area of Evangelistria, Thessaloniki.

Bulgaria: Robbery of a Money Transfer Office in Sofia
A robbery took place last night in Sofia, a 24-hour money transfer office in the "Orlandovtsi" district was robbed, Nova TV reported.
The robbery took place around 1:30 a.m., reported the Ministry of the Interior.
Crete Christmas manger robbed of its hay
Residents of a suburb in Iraklio on the island of Crete woke up on Friday to the robbery of hay balls that decorated a Christmas manger that was set up by the local cultural center.
The local Cretalive.gr website said the theft took place on Thursday night.
According to reports, the robbers took the hay to feed their livestock.

Burglars break into Ecumenical Patriarch's house in Istanbul
Three masked individuals broke into the house of Ecumenical Patriarch Vartholomeos in Istanbul on Saturday evening, according to a report in a newspaer of the Greek diaspora.
Vartholomeos was attending a social gathering and the housekeeper was the only person in the premises, Anatoli reported.

ATM stolen by robbers in Agrinio
Unidentified robbers removed a cash machine from the premises of a hospital in Agrinio, central Greece, on Wednesday before loading it into a getaway vehicle and fleeing the scene.
It was unclear how much cash had been in the ATM.
The getaway car, which police determined had been stolen, was found shortly after the robbery a few kilometers from the scene of the crime.
