Greek theater celebrated in Amsterdam
AMSTERDAM - Crossing the street to get to the Internationaal Theater Amsterdam (ITA), I saw three students trying to take a selfie with the image of Giannis Angelakas from the poster of "Nekyia" in the background. "Are you Greek?" I asked the young women. No answer. I repeated the question in English. "My boyfriend is Greek," one called Eline explained.

Pyx Lax | On Tour | July 24 - September 14
Following a successful tour of Greece and Cyprus last year, Greek rock act Pyx Lax are hitting the road again. Pyx Lax broke up in 2004 but the band got back together following Manos Xydous' death in 2010. Their 2018 tour commemorated 30 years since the band formed.

Member of legendary 60s Greek band “Olympians” killed in freak accident
The guitarist and support singer of legendary 60s and 70s Greek rock band “Olympians”, Vangelis Kitsikopoulos was killed in a freak accident. Kitsikopoulos, 62, who was a contractor by profession, was killed when the bobcat he was driving capsized and fatally inured him in the chest.

Iconic Greek rock band “Pyx Lax” (literally meaning punching and kicking), are in studio recording their new album after 14 years. The album, which is scheduled to be released at the start of 2018 is under record label Panik Oxygen and will be their first one after 14 years.
The History of Greek Rock Live | Athens | May 12
Kyttaro Live Club is celebrating the spirit of Greek rock 'n' roll and kick-starting the concert season with a night of music from bands that cut their teeth on the local circuit. Mora sti Fotia, Aprosarmosti and Magic de Spell are just a few of the bands lined up to perform this Friday. The show starts at 7.30 p.m. and tickets cost 12 euros at the door or 10 euros when purchased in advance.
