PM Orban: Decision to reopen air transport should be made at European level

Prime Minister Ludovic Orban said on Monday evening that the reopening of air traffic is not a decision to be adopted by the Romanian authorities, but it will be made at European level. GCS: 226 new cases of people infected with the new coronavirus; total cases - 15,588

A number of 226 new cases of people infected with the new coronavirus have been registered in Romania since the latest information, thus reaching a total of 15,588 cases, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) announced on Monday. Of those infected, 7,245 were declared cured and discharged from hospital. 255 patients are admitted to intensive care.

Draft law regarding measures to prevent and combat effects of COVID-19 pandemic on Gov't meeting agenda

The Government is to approve on Monday's meeting a draft law regarding some measures for the prevention and combat of the effects of COVID-19 pandemic which are to be implemented after 15 May, when the state of emergency will be switched to a state of alert.
