Federer is Officially the Oldest Number One in Tennis
For the first time since October 2012, Grand Slam winning record holder Roger Federer has again climbed to the top of the world tennis rankings. At 36, the Swiss replaced Rafael Nadal (Spain) and officially became the oldest number one in history. The previous record holder was Andre Agassi (USA), who headed the ATP rankings at 33 in 2003.
Grigor Dimitrov Lost to Federer in Less Than an Hour
Grigor Dimitrov lost 2:6, 2:6 in the final of the ATP 500 series in Rotterdam, where the best Bulgarian tennis player faced Roger Federer. The Swiss, who officially returned as No. 1 in the world rankings, was outstanding in his game and won for 55 minutes.
Germany wins tie against Australia
German number one Alexander Zverev beat Nick Kyrgios in straight sets to give his country a 3-1 win over Australia in their Davis Cup World Group tie in Brisbane on Feb. 4.

Australian Open champion Roger Federer is set to continue defying Father Time after announcing he will return to defend his title next year, the Swiss said on Jan. 29.
Djokovic beats Monfils at Australian Open
MELBOURNE - Serbia's top-ranked male tennis player Novak Djokovic beat Frenchman Gael Monfils 4-6, 6-3, 6-1, 6-3 on Thursday to advance to the Australian Open third round.
He will next face Spaniard Albert Ramos Vinolas, who beat American Tim Smicek 6-4, 6-2, 7-6 (7-2).

Djokovic to face Young in Australian Open first round
MELBOURNE - Serbia's top-ranked male tennis player Novak Djokovic was on Thursday drawn to face American Donald Young in the Australian Open first round.
Djokovic, a six-time Australian Open champion who is returning from an injury that kept him sidelined for six months, is the 14th seed and could face Frenchman Gael Monfils in the second round.

Grigor Dimitrov is Now 3rd in the World Ranking
Bulgarian top tennis player Grigor Dimtrov beat American Jack Sock 4:6 6:0 6:3 in an epic semi-final at the ATP World Tour in London on 18th of November. Grigor will face David Goffin of Belgium in Sunday's final.

Federer is the First 1/2-finalist in London
Roger Federer became the first 1/2-finalist of the ATP Finals in London. The 36-year-old Swiss won the first place in the Boris Becker group after defeating Alexander Zverev (Ger) with 7:6(6), 5:7, 6:1. It was his second victory in the group in his record 15th participation in the tournament.

Grigor Dimitrov Qualified For the Quarterfinals of the Shanghai ATP Masters 1000
Grigor Dimitrov qualified for the quarterfinals of the Shanghai ATP Masters 1000, after winning versus Wimbledon semifinalist Sam Querrey by 6-3, 7-6 (3) in just 80 minutes.
This is Dimitrov's third victory out of these matches against the American tennis player, and his 40th out of 56 matches in 2017.
His next rival will most probably be world number one Rafael Nadal.
