INDIAN WELLS - World number one Novak Djokovic defeated Andy Murray from the UK 6-2 6-3 on Saturday to reach the final of the ATP Masters tournament in Indian Wells.

The match took only 90 minutes and marked Djokovic's 6th consecutive win over Murray, putting the head-to head score at 17-8.

Bulgaria's top male tennis player Grigor Dimitrov recorded his first victory against Roger Federer on Wednesday.

This was achieved in the BNP Paribas Showdown, which was played in the Madison Square Garden in New York.

Dimitrov, who had suffered three defeats in his official encounters with Federer, won the exhibition match with 6:2, 1:6, 7:5, Sportal.bg reports.
