The Roof of Bulgaria's National Library is Leaking

The bad weather created problems of the National Library "St. Cyril and Methodius". The roof is leaking a few days after the beginning of its long-awaited renovation.

The rainy weather is not a good for the National Library - the roof is in a desolate state, and because of rainfall the ceiling has already been leaking in several places.

Heavy snow was the reason for the collapse of the ceiling of the National Library St. St. Cyril and Methodius, reported BGNES.

Due to the weight of the snow, the glass ceiling of the library collapsed in one of the reading halls, known as reading hall 3.

The incident occurred about 17:00 hrs on Friday and one person was injured.

Workman dies after falling off roof in Alexandroupoli

Police in Alexandroupoli were on Wednesday investigating the circumstances of the death of a 37-year-old laborer who had been repairing the tiled roof of a house in the city in northeastern Greece on Tuesday.

The worker, an Albanian national, was transferred to the city?s general hospital after falling off the roof but medics declared him dead on arrival.
