Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, the chairman of Kingdom Holding who spent nearly three months in detention in the kingdom's anti-corruption campaign, has told Bloomberg TV he reached an agreement with the government for his release.

Saudi Arabian billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has been released from detention, family sources said on Saturday, more than two months after he was taken into custody.

Saudi Arabia’s billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, detained for over two months in an anti-corruption crackdown, is negotiating a possible settlement with authorities but so far has not agreed on terms, a senior Saudi official said.

Saudi Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal bin Abdulaziz al-Saud has spent at least 2.5 million Turkish Liras ($710.568) during his one-week-long holiday in the Aegean resort of Bodrum.
