The incident took place at around 12:30 Sunday. No one was apprehended on the spot.

A serious incident took place at the Greek Ministry of Defence on Friday morning when about 20 members of the far-left anarchist group Rubicon, stormed through the main entrance and approached the building where the office of the Minister Panos Kammenos is located, who was in Canada at that time.

Members of the anarchist group Rouvikonas (Greek for Rubicon) on Wednesday attacked the offices of Turkish Airlines in Alimos, south of Athens.

The attack, which took place at 6.30 a.m., caused damages to the entrance of the offices of the Istanbul-based carrier but no casualties.

The motive behind the attack was not yet known.

The anarchist group Rouvikonas (Rubicon) struck again early Thursday. Members of the group conducted a pre-dawn raid using sledgehammers and paint at Zografou town hall near central Athens. Footage of the attack was uploaded onto the Internet.

The union representing judges at the Council of State, the country's highest administrative court, on Thursday criticized the government for failing to provide adequate security for the court and to condemn an attack on its premises by members of anarchist group Rouvikonas (Rubicon) on Wednesday.

The hooded extremists of ‘Rubicon’, who had attacked the offices of Protothema in April, are threatening to upgrade their violent operations in an interview to portal ‘HIT&RUN’. One of the leaders of the group, which has become rampant under the ‘cover’ of SYRIZA’s laws, George Kalaitzidis told the site that the group plans to expand, become more organised and in its raids.
