Driton Rugova, police spokesperson for Peje/Pec region, told BIRN that Svetislav Veric's house suffered material damages from the fire set by unknown persons.

As reported by Kosovo Online, he must be removed from power, because otherwise he will cause immeasurable damage to the so-called Kosovo, writes the newspaper Tema.

Haki Rugova, mayor of the western Kosovo municipality of Istog/Istok, was sentenced to one year's imprisonment by the Basic Court of Peje/Pec on Monday.

A high ranking official of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has visited the grave of the party's founder, Ibrahim Rugova.

On this occasion, Haki Borovci revealed, he "informed Rugova about certain issues."
